Handball

A handball fitness program really makes the most sense during league breaks, when the body actually needs rebuilding before matches start up again at full intensity and physical demand.

Handball Mid-Season Prep fully rebuilds strength, jump and shooting shoulder over 4 whole weeks at three sessions a week, with particular close attention paid to the rotator cuff, the joint most used and most often injured among handball players. The work combines heavy lifting, plyometrics for the jump and shoulder stability drills, three qualities rarely trained together anywhere else.

This program fits best during a full 4-week break between two phases of the season, not right in the middle of a busy match schedule with no real room left to recover.
